Delete your account & data
You can permanently delete your TrukLoad account and personal data at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1 — In the app (instant)
- Open the TrukLoad app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab (or Account on the web).
- Tap Delete account permanently.
- Confirm twice. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Option 2 — By email
If you can't access the app, email us from your registered mobile number's account and we'll process the deletion.
Processed within 30 days
What gets deleted
The following personal data is erased immediately and permanently:
- Your name, mobile number, GSTIN and company details
- Your profile photo
- Your app security PIN
- Your vehicle listings and service areas (removed from the marketplace)
- Your unpublished load postings
- All active sessions (you are signed out on every device)
What we must retain, and why
Completed freight transaction records (bookings, digital Bilty/LR and Proof of Delivery) are retained in anonymised form — stripped of your personal details and no longer linkable to you by name or phone number. We are legally required to keep these under Indian GST law and e-Way Bill rules, and for statutory audit purposes. They are never used for marketing or profiling.
Prefer to pause instead?
If you only want a break, you can deactivate instead of deleting. Deactivation hides your listings and signs you out, but keeps your data so you can reactivate later by simply logging in. That option is in the same Profile/Account screen.
